I feel like it’s very easy to fall into a routine and to get stuck in it. It happens because routine is so consistent, I guess it makes your life easier in a way.
I feel like it becomes a bad thing when you get so stuck in it that you don’t ever feel like breaking out of it, even for little things.
It’s all about those little things like taking a different route home one day or leaving 5 minutes earlier in the morning. When we’re stuck in a routine we feel like these little things are a nuisance or are too much effort. I feel like sometimes we should just do things a little differently because it’s good to see and experience different things every now and then.
This probably doesn’t make much sense and is all rambly but I guess what I’m trying to say is… Buy that slice of cake you see in the window, that you walk pass every day, even if it means having to take the next train, haha.
Being in London 5 days a week means eating out everyday, good but bad, very bad! I got my fav bubbletea this week; red bean milk tea with tapioca is the besttt! And I haven’t been to Snog in ages, they’re the only froyo place in London that has mochi topping, as far as I know. I’ve been craving a bit of paella so got some of that today. Mmm yumm!
Tomorrow is gonna be a long day, got my internship 10-6, we’re gonna have lunch together at my fav sushi restaurant so that’ll be nice. Then I’ve got a birthday dinner to go to at 8:30 so I’ll have to hang around for a couple hours until it’s time for dinner. Still have work on Saturday, ahh such a long week!
